It's traditional....as in, it's now a tradition.
Happy sort of fall, y'all! Here in the desert, it's never anything but brown. I mean, we do have the best sunsets around and we never have to shovel snow. But, we don't have seasons. So it's up to me, to create them.
In my house, come September 1, we go balls to the walls. I bust out every pumpkin inspired everything I own. I load up my tribe and drive past the dollar store like I am casing the joint. I kind of am....I am looking for plastic rats, and glitter spiders to adorn the shelves. So I can go buy them. ALL.
I *may* have a problem.
Also, another tradition that organically formed, was the annual busting out of the "glitter chapeau." I have had this hat for 10 years. My first born loved it, now my middle loves it, and by golly my baby will love it pending it makes it that long.
This is fall. PSL's and my glitter chapeau. I document this each year now. This year, I had my little eat some Cheetos, and asked her to twirl. This is the outcome of that. And? It's goooooooooooooooood.
What are your crazy annual traditions?
