I see you.

I see your tired. I feel it. I understand your struggle, and the infinite depth of love for the heart(s) that you built within your body, and that now beats outside yourself. I see your anguish, and you are sacred. Dear Sister, I see your strength and your triumph. I see that you are weak, yet somehow made of titanium. You are their foundation.

I see you.

I see your need for just a "moment." I see you battle to find your own voice and breath when it feels as if you are being snuffed out by noise. Dear Sister, I know you are screaming as if no one hears you. I hear you. You are their song.

I see you.

I see your unwillingness to be broken. I know that feeling, the one where you think you have failed. I see your tenacity, and I know that every tear you shed over them, creates a river to help carry to their destination. You are the boat to weather their storm.

Dear Sister in Motherhood, I honor the gift that lies within our bodies, that has created life for eternity and will continue to do so.

I see you.

You are not alone. You are powerful and beautiful and transcendent. The children you have made and labored for from the moments of birth until you take your last breath is and always will be the most beautiful and difficult job the universe gives us. You are their stars.

And on this day of Divine Motherhood, Dear Sisters.....I see you. I hear you. I honor you.

And, I am in awe of you.
